Time & Place & What To Expect

 

SERVICE TIME:

Our Sunday School begins at 9:05am until 9:50am.

Pre-Worship Prayer Time: Prayers for the Pastor, Visitors, Congregation, and Service.  Meets at 9:15am in the "Lighthouse" by the church.

The Sunday morning worship service is at 10:00am.

SERVICE PLACE:
We gather together at 324 North 5th Avenue, the corner of 5th and Villard.

ORDER OF SERVICE – June 29, 2008 – 10:00 AM
Welcome
Call to Worship:  based on Psalm 89

  • Leader:  I will sing of the love and covenant promises of the Lord forever.  
  • People:  We will proclaim and make His faithfulness known through all generations.
  • Leader:  Let us declare that His love stands firm forever, and praise Him for His forgiveness and righteousness so freely given through the blood and sacrifice of His Anointed, the Messiah, Jesus Christ.
  • People:   And that He has established His covenant faithfulness forever, with us and our children.
  • All:  Let us praise the goodness and salvation of the Lord.

  • Sunday School for preschool – high school: September – May, 9:05 - 9:50 AM
  • Coffee and Fellowship after the worship service: September – May
  • Cookies, coffee, juice and Fellowship in the basement after the worship service: June – August
  • Small Groups – various times, topics and locations (Call Carl Wierda- 587-3835)
  • High School Youth Group – Currently meets alternate Sunday afternoons 4-6 PM
